Update day!!

Hi gang,

we have been having lots of fun with all our toys,
3 weeks ago we made these two cards using the Circus Circle set, razzleberry, curry and melon card stock/ribbon and razzleberry lemondade DSP. I love this set, colors and will use it a lot!
Last Saturday Mary gave us three card ideas!
Card 1 used the Medallion stamp, curry ink with soft suede and red accent strips.
Card 2 used the McDonalds set (from the back page of the catalog) razzleberry and old olive card stock, razzleberry, olive and bliss blue ink, the little crosses are pop dotted. - Simple and attractive.
Card 3 used old olive card stock run through the "movers and shakers" die, curvy punch, choclate ribbon, crushed curry DSP. An Eye Catcher!

Yesterday Lois, Mary, Peg and I made Paulette's fun fall card, leaves were punched (without Joyce - horrors) and added to the card.

We are all preparing for World Card Making Day next Saturday, an all day event again!!! Bring your shoe box idea for 10 and join the fun.

Till next time

Cindy

Relaxing on Labor Day

With a day to relax I have time to update, good thing, it has been a while.

The August Tuesday night card was created by Pam, it is cheery with overlapping ribbon, flower punches and ladybugs.
The following Saturday Beth card had a favorite color combo and we got to use a hounds tooth cuttlebug folder to create the old olive background.
The last Friday in August, Lois, Paulette, Gwen, Karla, Anne and I attended Susan's SU hostess appreciation dinner. We had a great time. Some of us took part in the card exchange, this is my entrya gift card holder from a 6x6 piece of double sided DSP, a top note die cut, ribbon, scallop and circle punch. On the inside I cut a clear envelope and attached it to the inside to hold a gift card.
Here are a few of the other cards I got back in the trade
the top left card is Lois's card, the pull out tag is really cleaver, Susan love the idea,
Gwen's card, I love that big medaillion stamp!

There were several other cards but to quote Doug "not all these ladies are up to your skill level are they"

Susan's make and takes - gift tags
and two adorable cards
We all had agreat time, Susan is wonderful.

The last Satuday in August Lois treated us to 2 card ideas, the first was like wallet style that could be used as a money holderThe other was a circle card ( she loves her cricut) with a concho and beads.

I am looking forward to seeing all of you tomorrow night, Karla will be hosting Susan here so wee can see come new ideas!

Check the calander, it is updated for the rest of the year.
