Welcome 2011

Oh look it's snowing again!!  Appears this is the trend for the new year.

I need to catch you up on what the Tramp's are up to---
December 14th we enjoyed a Christmas party at Pizza Ranch, we had a fun time with the "rude" staff and everyone was in attendance. I made everyone play "TRAMP BINGO" using bingo cards a I made using the SU Bingo set. I thought it was great fun. Winners got to select a Christmas gift. I also made ornaments and a candy cane puzzle. Lois provided penguin chocolates and Karla also had candy and small gifts.

Front row: Lois, Karla, Mary, Anne, Joyce and Gwen

December 18 we all got together to do our 2011-2012 purse calendar, we used stuff from my stash and everyone picked something to match their style.

Now it's January and we have met for the first time this new year and enjoyed hearing about Paulette's new grandson Mason and oohed and aahed over his pictures. Cards were provided by Lois. Number is a sweetie. The ribbon element is curtain pleating ribbon, love the gems and flower accent.

Card 2 its a tribute to granddaughter Sarah's love of pigs and uses the same technique as her snowman Christmas card.

Is this not the most adorable little piggy,  Mary was accused of "hogging" the sample while we put our cards together.

Karla is finishing up her cards from last year and promises to stay caught up this year!!! Her Christmas card used a sizzlet for the "Merry Christmas",  SU punch for the label, a she had a great ribbon selection and the silk poinsettia set off the cute DSP.

Her last card was a "buckle" closing card. A long tab is inserted in to a word window opening to form the buckle
.

To create the swoosh under the skater she used the stem from the SU Bird punch, we cut the leave off and yes it is darn cute.

See you Tuesday night for Valentine's day cards - Paulette and Beth are the leaders and Saturday for Mary's Groundhogs day card.

Love to you all

Cindy
