Where have I been...

Sorry for the delay in posting, I needed a little time to process the job change and we have not been meeting due to the horrible winter weather and I had the flu.

Lois, Karla, Anne and I went to Susan's open house on Friday, what cute cards, loved the ribbon used on each card and the ideas were too cute.

We got together a few weeks ago, Beth and Paulette designed Valentine cards for the assisted living. Card one used the top note a tag die, 2 punches and a jewel to top it off. This sample had a hard time in the corner rounder.

Card two featured the cute vintage paper and an envelope die cut with a sweet sentiment inside and punched valentines,

Yesterday Beth, via Paulette provided this beautiful card, the colors are calming, we used markers to color the stamped image. The green textured background paper was run through a quik cuts folder. The flower stanp is SU's Just Believe - I love it.!! The thinking of you is from an other set, did not remember which one.

I featured buttons ( Lois swoons) in my cards. The Bitty Buttons set from Papertrey Ink has such cute images and I needed a splash of spring since this winter is dragging on.
This card used a MS punch for the cameo coral piece, ribbon out of my stash and yellow buttons, I did not have any big yellow buttons, but with a quick hit of a Copic marker white becomes yellow.

For card two I went back to one of my favorite DSP's Cottage Wall because I love rich razzleberry and old olive and again used an image from the Bitty Buttons set.

Wishing you all a great week, see you Saturday - remember Theresa is coming with some new ideas.

Love to you all

Cindy
